Pensioner ‘stabbed young Filipino bride after jealous argument over salsa’

Pensioner Robert Brindley stabbed their young Filipino spouse five times in a jealous rage after their wedding broke down following arguments about salsa party classes, a court heard.

Brindley attacked their wife that is diminutive Precious a kitchen area blade, stabbing her repeatedly into the back.

The court had been told Brindley, 66, from Teignmouth, Devon had been “possessive and jealous” over their spouse, who had been aged inside her “20s” in the period of the assault.

On Monday, Exeter Crown Court heard Mrs Brindley collapsed to your flooring and she heard her husband shouting: “That’s it, that’s the way to die, listening to your music as she regained consciousness. Shall we stab you through the center or shall we call an ambulance?”
