Campus Loan Servicer: ECSI Faq’s

The University of California has engaged the solutions of Heartland ECSI, Inc. (ECSI) to replace Conduent formerly ACS Education Services (ACS) because the servicer for several of this University’s campus-based student education loans effective August 2017. This will be a system-wide modification impacting all University of Ca campuses.

Starting in August 2017, ECSI will assume obligation for servicing the University’s campus-based figuratively speaking including, although not limited by, giving education loan payment statements, processing education loan payments, forbearance, deferment, and cancellation demand types, and providing high quality customer service to the education loan borrowers.

The University acknowledges that because of the change to ECSI, you will have various modifications impacting our borrowers and a time period of interruption in services. But, our company is making every effort to help make the change a smooth one, with since service that is little that you can, following leading concept of performing our better to deal with borrower requirements. For the reason that spirit, we have been supplying the after information about the change in addition to modifications which can be being implemented.

Transition Dates

The date that is effective of University’s brand new solution agreement with ECSI is August 1, 2017. The last date for the University’s education loan services agreement with Conduent/ACS is July 31, 2017. The method for transitioning all education loan account information from Conduent/ACS to ECSI will commence on August 1, 2017 and it is likely to be finished by Mid-August, 2017. Continue reading →
